The Story Farm crew showed up bright and early for a recent photo shoot with Chef Brandon McGlamery. The lovely Emily Congdon, pastry chef extraordinaire, greeted us with hot-from-the-oven orange and currant scones. And Chef Brandon served us eggs of a briny sort — uni in passionfruit cups.
This is the set up for what soon became became John Dory, Garden Peas and Prosecco Nage at skillful hands of Chef Fabrizio Aielli. With his wife, Ingrid, Fabrizio is owner of Sea Salt and Barbatella restaurants in Naples. Their cookbook will come out in Spring 2014 from Story Farm.
Here’s Story Farm’s enthusiastic editorial director, Ashley Fraxedas, on a photo shoot in Naples, Florida, for Chef Fabrizio’s cookbook. When shooting Fabrizio’s food at his Sea Salt restaurant, all we had to do was make sure he had a clean canvas — his food is so artistic that we aren’t even using plates.
